Unsanity Conduits – Introduction

The definition of unsanity is the willingness of an individual to accept an assertion made by someone else without thinking about the elements of the assertion, be they underlying facts, observations, etc.
But you don’t receive assertions out of thin air. You have to be positioned to receive an assertion, perhaps by reading a book, magazine or newspaper, listening to the radio, watching television, or visiting web sites.
Those who make the assertions you receive must first formulate the ideas and concepts, and then condense them into the summation that becomes the assertion.
There are different methods and systems for generating an assertion. I refer to them as Conduits.
In the weeks ahead I will explain the different conduits that deliver the many assertions that reach the public every day.
